A Structure Fire Broke Out in North Fair Oaks Avenue in Altadena

A structure fire broke out in the 3400 block of North Fair Oaks Avenue in Altadena Tuesday morning, according to Fire Inspector Richard Licon of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“There were flames showing from someone’s backyard, the first engine reported smoke and fire coming out of someone’s garage unit,” Licon said. “It was a car that had caught fire and spread to the building itself.”

Licon said the Fire Department arrived on scene at 10:11 a.m. and the fire was put out 11 minutes later.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Licon.
