A Week of Sunny Ahead

It may be a bit chillier than normal in Pasadena for now but the week will be sunny and heat up a bit, according to the National Weather Service 

A slight chance of rain is possible for the Los Angeles County on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, otherwise dry skies are ahead, the NWS said.

Sunday, expect partly cloudy skies, with the clouds clearing later in the morning. Temperatures will be 4 to 8 degrees below normal.

Monday will be similar to today, with slightly sunnier conditions and a minor increase in temperatures. 

On Tuesday, a marine layer will likely bring morning clouds and possibly some drizzle. Temperatures will drop and Wednesday morning may still be cloudy.

From Thursday to Saturday, a significant warm-up is anticipated, with temperatures rising 3 to 6 degrees each day. Half of the area will be above normal on Friday, and the entire area is expected to be above normal on Saturday.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 70. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 51. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast after midnight.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 72. East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.

Monday Night: Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 50. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southeast after midnight.

Tuesday: Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 68. Southeast wind 5 to 15 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers after 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 11 a.m. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 68.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 49.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 73.

Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 53.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 80.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 57.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 85.
