Union Station Homeless Services on Friday announced the resignation of Anne Miskey from her role as its Chief Executive Officer, effective April 2.

During her tenure as CEO, Miskey spearheaded substantial growth and transformative changes within the organization. Over the past six years, Union Station has experienced a doubling in size and forged expanded partnerships throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Northeast Los Angeles regions.

Miskey’s vision and expertise led the organization to be nationally recognized for excellence in best practices that end homelessness.

“It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce that after six years of dedicated service, Anne Miskey has resigned from her position as Chief Executive Officer at Union Station Homeless Services,” said Jesse Torres, Chair, Board of Directors, Union Station Homeless Services.

“We at Union Station are tremendously grateful to Anne for the energy, vision, and heart that she dedicated to our organization, to our communities and to those we served these past six years. We wish her the absolute best in all her future plans and endeavors.”

Reflecting on her time at Union Station, Miskey stated, “I am incredibly appreciative of my time at Union Station.”

Said Miskey. “I was fortunate to work closely with many amazing staff, volunteers, donors, and community members, all focused on helping end homelessness for our most vulnerable neighbors. I am grateful to them for their commitment and support. Leaving is hard, but I take with me so much of what I have learned over the past six years, and the many friends and colleagues I have made. I wish Union Station all the best as it moves forward as one of LA County’s premier homeless agencies.”

The board of directors for Union Station will soon unveil an interim leadership arrangement and initiate a nationwide search, facilitated by the firm Morris & Berger, to identify Miskey’s successor.
