Kelly G. Richardson, Managing Partner of Richardson Harman Ober PC, a Pasadena-based real estate, business and community association law firm, has been appointed as Chair of The Salvation Army Pasadena Advisory Board. Mr. Richardson will serve a two-year term as Chair of the Advisory Board where he will lead The Salvation Army’s efforts in helping the needy in the Pasadena area. Advisory Board members provide assistance in achieving the organization’s mission, purpose and objectives through the contribution of their work, wealth, and wisdom. Each member is selected on the basis of how their experience and knowledge complements the organization locally and as a whole.

“I am honored to be allowed to lead this great organization, now in its 126th year in Pasadena,” says Mr. Richardson. “One of the mottos of the Salvation Army is ‘heart to God, hand to man”, and that motto is a wonderful rule to live by. I hope to advance that rule in Pasadena.”

Mr. Richardson has been a member of the board since 1999. During his 15 years of service with the organization, he has held positions ranging from Vice Chair of the Board to Chairing its Property Committee and its annual Thanksgiving event which provides meals to an estimated 800 people.

For more than 125 years, The Salvation Army has provided services and hope to those in need without discrimination. The Salvation Army currently has representation in more than 125 countries worldwide, in addition to nearly 8,000 centers of operation across the United States.
