Blair Sophomore Wins Lifelong Learner Awards

Blair School sophomore Johanna Dickie is the winner of the 2016 International Baccalaureate Lifelong Learner Award.

Each year, the California Association of International Baccalaureate World Schools (CAWS) gives scholarship awards to students who have demonstrated exemplary academic performance and outstanding commitment to growth as well-rounded International Baccalaureate global citizens.

Johanna was chosen as the sole winner among Middle Years Programme students in the state of California. Her accomplishments stood out among an unprecedented large pool of applicants.

Johanna’s essay about perseverance through difficult times and growth via reflective action represents the characteristics of an IB learner. IB encourages students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners.
