Bob Hope Airport Launches Customer Loyalty Program

Published on Monday, August 5, 2013 | 12:15 pm

Burbank Bob Hope Airport today launched a customer loyalty program powered by Thanks Again, LLC. Bob Hope Airport is the first airport in California to launch a direct, airport-wide partnership with the Thanks Again program and joins a network of over 170 other airports offering members airline miles or hotel points for their on-airport purchases. Thanks Again will be exclusive to Burbank amongst L.A. Basin Airports for one year.

The new program offers patrons the opportunity to register their existing credit or debit cards and begin earning airline miles or hotel points for purchases made at the airport parking lots, restaurants and gift shops. If the card is already part of an existing reward program, the miles or points from airport purchases will accumulate in addition to the reward points normally earned by the card.

“For years, our travelers have been saying ‘thank you for running a great airport,’ and with Thanks Again now in place, we can say thank you right back to them,” said Airport Authority Executive Director Dan Feger.

“Convenient, easy-to-use facilities and customer service have been our trademark, and we hope the fact that Thanks Again is now present at over 170 other airports will bring added value to our guests not only here, but throughout their travel itinerary,” he added.

Travelers can register for the Burbank Bob Hope Loyalty Program online at www.thanksagain.com/BUR. There is absolutely no cost to join. Bob Hope Airport visitors will see the loyalty program displays with sign-up information in numerous locations throughout the terminal facilities, concession areas, on-airport parking lots and on shuttle vehicles.

Thanks Again, LLC is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, and links members of the most popular rewards programs to airport parking, airport concessions and local businesses to stimulate commerce, loyalty and customer value.

Thanks Again currently features Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, American AAdvantage, Delta Skymiles, Frontier Early Returns, United Mileage Plus, US Airways Dividend Miles, and Hilton Honors. Southwest Rapid Rewards will become part of the program by September. Some other Thanks Again airport locations include Portland International, Seattle-Tacoma, JFK, Newark , La Guardia, Atlanta-Hartsfield, Dallas-Ft. Worth and Houston Intercontinental.
