CAMPAIGN NEWS: State Senate Candidate Elizabeth Wong Ahlers Picks Up Former Supervisior Mike Antonovich’s Endorsement

Elizabeth Wong Ahlers, a conservative candidate running for State Senate District 25, said she has secured the endorsement of retired Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich.

Antonovich has a distinguished political career spanning over 30 years on the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, three terms in the State Assembly, and Chairman of the California Republican Party.

“Elizabeth Ahlers is a passionate conservative who understands the issues facing California,” a statement attributed to Supervisor Antonovich said. “Elizabeth will bring a strong voice for families and traditional values to Sacramento.”

The endorsement follows other notable support for the Ahlers campaign coming from retired State Senator Mike Morrell, according to Ahler.

“The dual endorsements from these respected political figures is a testament to the serious momentum and growing support that Elizabeth Ahlers is garnering across the district,” the statement added.

State Senate District 25 represents Pasadena and other local cities such as Glendale, Alhambra, and Glendora.

Ahlers is currently a Councilmember in Cresenta Valley, where she has been actively involved in promoting community safety, education, and housing initiatives.

In addition to her public service, she is a Parental Rights Advocate recognized with the prestigious National Parents of the Year Award for raising six children and maintaining a successful 32-year marriage.

Ahlers is also a Professor of English and has taught at UCLA, Glendale College, and LA Valley College. She holds a Doctor of Practical Ministry. She has served active roles within the Los Angeles County Republican Party’s Assembly District 44 Central Committee and the La Crescenta Republican Women Federated, where she serves as Vice President and Legislation Chair.
