Campaign: Sierra Madre Mayor Endorses Lisa Kroese for Pasadena Unified School District Board

The campaign for Pasadena Unified School District School Board District 6 candidate Lisa Kroese said Wednesday that Kroese has received the endorsement of Sierra Madre Mayor Kelly Kriebs,

In a published letter, Kroese said the endorsement marks a “significant milestone” in her campaign for the Board.

“Mayor Kriebs is not only a respected leader in our community but also someone who deeply understands the importance of education and the key role it plays in shaping our children’s futures,” Kroese wrote.

“Her endorsement highlights our shared vision and commitment to improving our schools, and supports our push for positive change within Pasadena Unified School District.”

Kroese said a top priority for her is making sure the community nurtures the emotional, physical, and educational needs of every child.

The campaign said that with Mayor Kriebs’ endorsement, Kroese feels even greater motivation to continue working on behalf of students, parents, teachers, and the community.

“I will be your voice of reason, a leader who listens, and the choice for change,” Kroese said. She added that by working together, a stable and safe environment can be created within PUSD for students and their families.

Kroese’s campaign focuses on improving schools and pushing for change within the district – a vision shared by Mayor Kriebs, the Kroese campaign said.

A Pasadena-based realtor whose three children all attend PUSD schools, Kroese announced her candidacy for the Board of Education in February.
