The suspect was also found to have a loaded gun in his pocket, as well as cocaine and a scale on his person when taken into custody about 12:45 a.m. in the 800 block of South Worcester Street, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.

As they were conducting their investigation, the wanted suspect arrived and walked in the front door, he said.

Police described the suspect as a 31-year-old man. His name was not released Friday pending further investigation.

The attempted murder the suspect was being sought in connection with occurred in Pasadena, but further details were not available.
