The Pasadena Public Health Department continues daily vaccination clinics this week — at times operating two clinics in separate venues per day — to provide residents as many opportunities as possible to receive COVID-19 vaccines.

On Tuesday, June 8, vaccinations will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the PPHD’s second-floor vaccination clinic at 1845 N. Fair Oaks Ave. The Moderna vaccine will be available at this clinic. Pre-registration is available at www.myturn.ca.gov, with some limited on-site registration available.

At 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, vaccinations will be provided outdoors at the Mercantile Place Alley in Old Pasadena up to 5 p.m. The venue is adjacent to the Schoolhouse Parking Structure. PPHD will be providing the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at this site. Clients are advised to check weather conditions before arriving on site.

On Wednesday, June 9, vaccinations will begin at the Pasadena Public Health Department at 6 p.m. This is a walk-in event, located at the second floor immunization clinic. Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines will be provided to eligible community members.

At the Fair Oaks Renaissance Plaza, 649 N. Fair Oaks Ave., a vaccination clinic will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, June 10, in Room No. 203 on the second floor. This is for those who received their first shot on May 13 and are getting their second dose of the Moderna vaccine. Entry will be through the doors adjacent to the Vallarta Market.

Also on Thursday, a vaccination clinic will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Boulevard Bar, 3199 E. Foothill Blvd. This clinic is walk-in and will take place indoors. The vaccine type is to be determined. Clients are advised to check their appointments through www.MyTurn.ca.gov.

On Friday, June 11, a second-dose vaccine clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 75 N. Marengo Ave. Clients can park at the Holly Street parking garage. This will take place both indoors and outdoors for the second-dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

Saturday’s vaccine clinic will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Pasadena Buddhist Temple, 1993 Glen Ave. PPHD will be providing the second-dose Pfizer vaccine to community members. Clients should have an appointment scheduled through www.MyTurn.ca.gov, again with some limited on-site registration. This clinic is outdoors, so be sure to check weather conditions prior to arriving onsite.

And on Sunday, June 13, PPHD, in partnership with Huntington Hospital will hold a vaccine clinic from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Rose Bowl Flea Market. The first 100 individuals to get vaccinated at the clinic will receive a free entry to the flea market. They will be providing the Johnson and Johnson vaccine at this site.

The clinic will also occur outdoors, so check weather conditions prior to arriving on-site.

As always, appointments are available on www.MyTurn.ca.gov. On-site registration will also be available but may be limited.
