City Project Manager Recognized for Contributions to Affordable Housing

Pasadena Housing Department senior project manager Jim Wong has been recognized by the Southern California Association of Nonprofit Housing for his contributions to the affordable housing in Pasadena.

Wong received the “Bright Light” award for the Public Agency/Official category on Tuesday, May 6, at Nick and Stef’s Steakhouse in Downtown Los Angeles during the association’s 26th annual conference.

His work at the housing department covers project finances, closure of development deals, administration of inclusionary housing ordinance and creation of first-time homebuyer loans.

The Southern California Association of Nonprofit Housing is the affordable housing industry’s trade association for the Southern California region of Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
