City Willing to Reschedule Vaccination Appointments Due to Pending Storm

Published on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 | 2:10 pm

Due to a significant storm that is expected to fall on the area Thursday, the city is allowing local residents and employees to reschedule vaccinations for tomorrow’s appointment-only event.

The Pasadena Public Health Dept. has over 900 confirmed appointments scheduled for COVID-19 vaccinations. This includes tier 1a, healthcare workers and long-term care facility residents and staff, and Pasadena residents 65+.

Although the drive-thru vaccination clinic is in a covered parking structure, some people have expressed concern about driving to and from due to the inclement weather.

If you have an appointment and are reluctant to drive in rainy conditions, please contact our Citizen Service Center at 626-744-7311 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Future appointments are not yet available, but if officials receive notification that you are unable to participate on Thursday due to rain, they will contact you with additional dates once the dates become available.

The doses will be reserved for those appointments.
