Pasadena police said a man described by witness only as “Hispanic” fired multiple shots at an unknown target Wednesday night and sent bullets flying into a fence and through an open window into an occupied home.

Officers responded to a shots fired call near the corner of Glen Avenue and Pepper Street at 8:10 p.m., Pasadena Police Lt. John Luna said. Upon arrival, they found evidence of a shooting, but no victims.

Luna said “a home was hit in the 200 block of Pepper Street,” explaining that a ” bullet traveled through a window into a bedroom.” He said there were three people in the home during the shooting.

Luna also said a fence on a property in the 1300 block of Glen Avenue was struck by at least one bullet.

Witnesses said the shooter was an Hispanic man on foot, Luna said.
