Councilmember Terry Tornek Files Campaign Form for Next Mayoral Race

Councilmember Tornek has filed a Candidate Intention Statement for the office of Mayor of Pasadena, City Clerk Mark Jomsky said today.

“He did not pull papers, nor has any other candidate pulled papers,” Jomsky said.

Tornek did, however, file Form 501, Jomsky reported.  Candidates for state or local office must file this form for each election, including reelection to the same office.

The Nomination Period for the March 10, 2015 City of Pasadena Primary Nominating Election for the Office of Mayor and City Council Districts 1, 2, 4, and 6 is still about ten months away.

The period to officially pull papers for the office opens in November 2014 and closes at the beginning of December 2014, with the election held in 2015.
