Pasadena-based Wescom Credit Union is hosting its fourth annual coffee giveaway for Daylight Saving Time this Sunday, March 11, at select Southern California locations of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, including the one in Old Pasadena, located at 18 S. Fair Oaks Avenue (but not the location on South Lake Avenue).
Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday.
On Sunday morning, Wescom will pay peoples’ tabs up to $15 per transaction, beginning when the doors open in the morning until $2,000-worth of bills are paid at each of the participating locations.
“Every year, we look forward to surprising people across the communities we serve by picking up the tab for guests at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf,” said Deena Otto, Wescom’s Senior Vice President for Marketing and Administration, in a company press release. “This campaign is part of our dedication to give Southern California residents a little taste of #WescomKindness throughout the year.”
“We are pleased to once again partner with Wescom Credit Union to treat The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf guest to complimentary coffee,” said Christy Smith, Director of Marketing at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. “With each cup, we look forward to making the day a little brighter for our guests.”
All Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf locations participating in the annual coffee giveaway are listed online at www.wescom.org/cbtl.
#WescomKindness is an extension of Wescom Credit Union’s long standing belief in the importance of serving its community through such programs as WeCare, Wescom’s employee-run charitable foundation.
