Summer Hill Homes will host a Zoom community meeting at 4 p.m. Thursday on their plans for a proposed development at 452 N. Los Robles Blvd., the current location of a 99 Cents Only Store.
The item last came before the Design Commission in August for a preliminary consultation report.
The project would include the demolition of an existing 99 Cents Only Store and a commercial building on North Los Robles Avenue to make way for the construction of a mixed-use project with 227 residential units, but no onsite affordable housing.
The project would include approximately 4,500 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, and two levels of subterranean parking containing 365 parking spaces.
When the project came to the City Council in July for pre-development plan review some community members expressed concerns about the height of the 67-foot high project.
The site is located in District 3, but across the street from District 5, near Villa Parke.
There is currently no sitting City Councilmember in District 5. The council is expected to appoint a councilmember at 6 p.m. on Thursday.
