Dispute Over Comment About Girlfriend Results in Stabbing

Published on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 | 6:27 am

A 27-year-old Pasadena man was stabbed multiple times early Sunday morning over an argument about a comment made regarding the victim’s girlfriend, Pasadena police Lt. Tim Bundy said.

The alleged stabbing occurred around 2:33 a.m. Sunday. The victim reportedly sustained lacerations to his left bicep, left rib cage, and left temple.

The victim was treated for his injuries in the emergency room at Huntington Hospital, but was largely uncooperative with police questioning about the incident, according to Bundy.

According to Bundy, the argument stemmed from an unspecified comment that another man made about the victim’s girlfriend.

This reportedly led to a dispute, during which the unknown suspect allegedly stabbed the Pasadena man several times with a knife.

Due to the victim’s lack of cooperation, Bundy said police have been unable to obtain further details about the alleged assault or identify the perpetrator. The investigation remains ongoing.
