The California Department of Motor Vehicles will begin opening its Pasadena office every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning August 4, as will 14 other field offices in Los Angeles and Orange counties to provide driver license and ID card processing, vehicle registration, and self-service terminal (SST) transactions.
Behind-the-wheel exams are not available on Saturdays, the DMV said.
Currently, the Pasadena DMV office is open the first and third Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
DMV field offices accept cash, check, money order and ATM/debit cards for payment of fees. They do not accept credit cards.
