Epicentre Church: Communities and Lifegroups

Published on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 | 7:58 pm

The early church worshipped and expressed their faith in temple courts and house to house. Lifegroups are the place of building communities, house to house, that transform lives through a passionate pursuit of Jesus, authentic friendships, and genuine love for all people.  Lifegroups become the means for which people are strengthened, Scriptures are lived out, and people serve one another, discovering and exercising spiritual gifts for the benefit of others.

At Epicentre, lifegroups are the core of who its parishioners are, equipping people for what God has in store for each person. Whether God’s called each one to serve in the marketplace, overseas, full-time ministry locally, or full-time parenting, lifegroups provide the best context for training, character development, discipleship, and community.

Lifegroups will tend to be dynamic, where life begets life, changing and multiplying as new people come in and new lifegroups emerge. Lifegroups may have anywhere from 8 to 16+ people in them. For more information, visit www.epicentrechurch.com.
