The First United Methodist Church (FUMC) Pasadena will hold a series of Fall SpiritSeekers’ to teach individuals the meaning of Christian disciple in the 21st Century. Each session begins with a potluck (please bring a dish to share) and ends with a call to service. The featured speakers include, Dr. Suchocki and Dr. Slessarev-Jamir, who will describe the scriptural, theological, and ethical bases for discipleship while members of FUMC and the local community share details of their work in mission.

Sunday, October 14 â FUMC Pasadena welcomes Dr. Marjorie Suchocki presenting her inspirational message “Discipleship: Inside/Outside.” Dr. Suchocki is a Professor of Theology, and Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean at Claremont School of Theology.
