Former La Cañada Flintridge Assemblymember Anthony Portantino has launched a public access television show titled “The Question Is with Anthony Portantino” to be seen statewide.
The show, which was filmed by Charter Communications, can be viewed on California Channel 101. Its debut episode featured interviews on HIV/AIDs and on the state’s prison realignment. Among the guests were Covina Police Chief Kim Raney, El Monte Councilmember Jay Gomez, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department personnel, Rev. Peter Laarman from Justice Not Jails and student Chaser Dominic Correy from Learning Works School.

For six years until 2012, Portantino represented La Canada Flintridge, Pasadena, Altadena, South Pasadena and other local cities as a state Assemblyman. He is currently planning to run for State Senate in 2016 in the 25th State Senate district to represent residents across the foothills areas from the Crescenta Valley all the way out to Upland and includes La Cañada, La Crescenta-Montrose, Monrovia, Altadena, Pasadena, San Marino and Sierra Madre.
