Attacker Opens Fire Following Car Crash in Pasadena

[UPDATED]Police sought a person they say fired gunshots, but did not strike anyone, following a car crash in Pasadena on Friday afternoon.

No victims were believed to have been wounded in the shooting, which took place shortly after 12:40 p.m. following a car crash in the 600 block of Mar Vista Avenue, near Orange Grove Boulevard, police said.

Following a collision, a person exited one of the involved vehicles and opened fire before fleeing.

No further details were available as the investigation remained in its early stages.
