A gunman fled with cash after holding up a Pasadena GameStop store on Sunday afternoon, police said.

The crime unfolded about 1:20 p.m. at the store, 3401 E. Foothill Blvd., Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.

A robber walked up to a lone employee, opened a backpack to display a handgun and demanded money from the cash register, Dawkins said.

The employee complied and the robber ran off, he said. The robber was last seen heading south along Halstead Street.

No injuries were reported.

Police described the robber as a Black man between 30 and 35 years old. He wore light-colored jeans, a “gator”-style mask and a black sweatshirt.
