A robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash after holding up a Pasadena insurance business at gunpoint on Saturday afternoon, police said.
The heist took place about 4:15 p.m. at a business at the northwest corner of Lake Avenue and Washington Boulevard, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.
Officers responded to a robbery alarm and learned a man had entered the store with a gun and demanded cash from two employees working there, he said.
The workers handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber ran off, Burgess said.
