Police were seeking a man who they say held up a Subway sandwich shop at gunpoint on Tuesday night.
The heist took place just after 8 p.m. at the restaurant at 3016 E. Colorado Blvd., said Pasadena police Lt. Pete Hettema.
“The suspect entered the location, pointed a firearm at the victim, and demanded money,” Hettema said. The victim complied, placing about $140 from the cash register into a bag the robber had brought with him. The robber ran away.
Police said the gunman was completely covered in black clothing, including a black mask and sunglasses and a black hooded sweatshirt. He stood about 6 feet tall and was thin.
