In the closely watched race for California’s 41st Assembly District, preliminary results indicate a challenging battle for Pasadena candidate Phlunte Riddle. With a significant portion of votes counted, Riddle trails behind her competitors in a competitive field.
John Harabedian, a fellow Democrat, leads the race with 13,395 votes, capturing 34.59% of the total. Not far behind, Republican Michelle Del Rosario Martinez has secured 12,210 votes, accounting for 31.53%. Riddle, also a Democrat, has garnered 7,119 votes, placing her in third with 18.39% of the vote. Jed Leano, another Democrat, trails with 5,997 votes, or 15.49%.
