Heat Will Start to Break

Temperatures near 100 will scorch Pasadena on Thursday, but the heat is about to break.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures in Pasadena will reach 93 degrees on Thursday, before falling into the 80s this weekend. 

Temperatures this weekend are forecast to reach 82, 83 and 81 degrees on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively.

The NWS said temperatures were only expected to fall by a few degrees in LA County on Thursday from Wednesday’s highs, which saw 81 at Mount Wilson; 88 at LAX; 94 in Long Beach and Saugus; 96 in Downtown L.A.; 97 in Palmdale, Lancaster and Burbank; and 100 in Woodland Hills. 

Temperatures will be 10 degrees lower in Downtown L.A.
