A single-family dwelling fire broke out in the 2300 block of E. Villa St. in Pasadena on Wednesday, April 17, according to Lisa Derderian, a spokesperson for the Pasadena Fire Department.

The first responders arrived at the scene just under two minutes after being dispatched and found a well-involved detached garage at the rear of a single-story house.

The original structure was protected and saved from the fire.

No injuries were reported, Derderian said, and no residents were displaced as a result of the fire.

The Pasadena Police Department and the Glendale Police Department (Air 1) assisted in the operation.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
