INTELECOM Intelligent Telecommunications Names Allen Dooley CEO

The Board of Directors of INTELECOM Intelligent Telecommunications is pleased to announce that Dr. Allen Dooley has been named Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Dooley will lead the organization’s efforts to develop innovative online curriculum and technology-based teaching and learning resources for California’s community colleges.

Board Chair and President of West Los Angeles College Nabil Abu-Ghazaleh said, “We are delighted that Dr. Dooley will join us as CEO. His vision and commitment to California community colleges make him an excellent choice to lead INTELECOM into a new leadership role in educational media and applications.”

Dooley comes to INTELECOM after serving as the Division Dean for Business at Santa Ana College, Santa Ana, California, where he was also responsible for the college’s Distance Education Department, serving all college divisions, and the Educational Multimedia Services Department.

“I am excited to have joined INTELECOM’s innovative team of dedicated professionals,” Dooley added. “At the heart of INTELECOM is a drive to develop compelling digital educational content that helps students succeed in their careers. I am honored now to be a part of this critical mission.”

Prior to his experience at Santa Ana College, Dooley was Acting Dean of Enrollment Management and Academic Support for two divisional areas at Pasadena City College, Pasadena, California. There, he earlier served as a Professor of Business and Computer Technology and as liaison, through the Division of Career and Technical Education, to the Computer High School Academy with John Marshall Fundamental School, both in Pasadena.

Dr. Dooley is a graduate of the University of Southern California (Ed.D., MPW.), Los Angeles, and California State University, Los Angeles (MBA, BS). He is also a twice published college textbook author with Pearson Prentice Hall on computer networking and data communications: Digital Business Networks and Business Data Communications.
