Pasadena Retailer: How Amply Endowed Women Can Look and Feel Great

With her platinum blond hair and her ample bosom, Country Western singer Dolly Parton used to joke about her looks saying, “You’d be surprised how much it costs to look this cheap.” But clients of Jenette Bras of Old Pasadena say just the opposite: “You’d be surprised how little it costs to look this good.”

For amply-endowed women, the key to looking great and feeling great is a getting a custom fit bra, according to owner Jenette Goldstein.

“The problem is that there is no global standard among bra manufacturers,” says Goldstein. “You may wear a 34D in one brand and a 32FF in another. And even styles from the same lines are cut differently, giving a different fit for each individual bra. Not to mention that each one of us is shaped differently, and at different times in our lives.”

Goldstein maintains that being properly fitted is the key to wearing the perfect bra that will make a woman look fantastic and feel gorgeous.

“Choosing the right bra size and style for you can totally transform your figure,” explains Goldstein. “It can put curves back in all the right places, while giving you more comfort and confidence than ever!”

As proprietor of Jenette Bras, Goldstein says there are some clues that will tell you that your bra doesn’t fit properly.

“The band size, the measurement right around your rib cage just under your breasts, is written as a fixed and standard number,” she says. “If the damn thing rides up in the back, or you look saggy, and you’ve tightened the straps and now have deep red marks in your shoulders, your band is too big.”

Unlike the band, the cup size represents the volume of your breasts and it is written as a letter. Cup size is relative to band. In other words, a “G” cup on a large band is bigger than a “G” cup on a small band. So how can you tell if your cup is too small?

“It’s too small if your cup runneth over, perhaps creating a ‘double boob’ effect,” says Goldstein. “The fabric should lay flat over the top of your breast, achieving a smooth transition under the thinnest of T-shirts.”

What about if it just feels uncomfortable?

“You should feel comfortable all day long. It’s as simple as that,” says Goldstein. “So if you suffer from a combination of problems, or if your bra just looks and feels wrong, it’s clear that you are wearing the wrong size and style for your body.”

Experts estimate that nearly 80% of women wear the wrong size bra. But the question is: “What prevents them from getting the proper size bra fitted for their bodies?” Can you really look and feel better with a custom-made and fitted bra? If you ask customers of Jenette Bras, they will respond with a definite “yes.”
