Pasadena police issued a call for assistance to the California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department around 1:53 a.m. Thursday after a crowd estimated at about 350 coursed through the streets of Old Pasadena as bars closed.
The “officer assist” call requested mutual aid to monitor the situation near the intersection of South Arroyo Parkway and East Colorado Boulevard.
