Large Fire Near East Pasadena Fire Station Destroys Building Complex

A complex of empty buildings that were for sale located yards from a Pasadena fire station were destroyed by a first-alarm blaze early Wednesday morning.

The complex at 170 N. Halstead Street is located close to an apartment and to Fire Station 37.

The blaze was reported at 1:41 a.m.

The fire was knocked down in about 40 minutes and there was no reports on any injuries. It is unknown at this time what caused the fire.

This is the second fire at that location this month. An earlier fire resulted in little damage.
