A Las Vegas man died in an apparent suicide at a Pasadena motel, according to a report from Pasadena Police Lieutenant John Luna.
The call came in at 11:25 a.m. on May 18, as a report of a possible suicide. Luna told Pasadena Now that motel staff went to the decedent’s room and found the door barricaded, and that’s when they called the authorities for a welfare check.
When police and fire personnel arrived at the East Colorado Boulevard motel, they found that he had died from an apparent suicide and contacted the coroner’s office.
There is no word yet as to the man’s cause of death and his identity has not been released.
