League of Women Voters-Pasadena Area Hosts Ice Cream Social Oct. 15

The League of Women Voters Pasadena Area is hosting an Ice Cream Social on Sunday, Oct. 15, from 3 to 5 p.m. at 65 South Grand Avenue. The event will feature Fosselman’s ice cream and refreshing sorbet in delicious waffle cones with chocolate sauce and fruit toppings. 

The mission of the League of Women Voters is to empower voters and defend democracy. The nonprofot group aims to encourage informed and active participation in government, increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy

At the event, jazz duo Jazz Duo Mark and Megan Goldstein are slated to perform and attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet League members. A silent auction will also be held, with items such as a mountain home vacation, Pasadena Theatre tickets, and Pasadena area attractions at stake.
