Library Commission to Discuss Reorganization of Commission Officers

Members of the Pasadena Public Library Commission, which advises the City Council on matters relating to the city’s public library system, are scheduled to hold a special virtual meeting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, to discuss a reorganization of elected commission officers, among other library-related issues. 

Library Director Michelle Perera will be providing a Library Update and talk about “transitioning services and programs due to COVID-19” and the library system’s Reopening Plan during the meeting. 

The Commission will also hear reports from library branch associates at the Hastings, La Pintoresca, San Rafael and Linda Vista libraries. 

Community members and library patrons can join in and submit questions or comments in advance or during the meeting, a library announcement said.

To submit comments, you may send comments of any length up to two hours before the meeting begins through this email, comments@cityofpasadena.net. Any comment submitted in this fashion will be forwarded to the Commission prior to the start of the meeting.

During the meeting, comments of up to 200 words regarding items on the agenda may be submitted through www.cityofpasadena.net/commissions/public-comment
