Light rain is expected in the Southland Friday, and there’s a chance of thunderstorms Friday evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday’s precipitation will be followed by light rain Saturday, according to the NWS. And another light storm out of the north is expected Monday.
Forecasters predicted less than .10 of an inch of rain Friday, although between a quarter and a half-inch are possible in a thunderstorm.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 64. Light south southwest wind becoming southwest 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 49. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light south after midnight.
Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 67. Calm wind becoming south southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
