Victory is sixth in a row and 11th straight home win

Right Handed pitcher Dustin May (1-1), will take on the Rockies’ Antonio Senzatela (3-1) in tonight’s 6:40 p.m. game.

In a dramatic and likely significant display of Dodger hitting power, the Los Angeles Dodgers overwhelmed the Colorado Rockies Friday, 10-6, pounding out a season high 15 hits, for their sixth victory in a row.

The Dodgers were stung early by a home run from Raimel Tapia in the first inning, and then again with a grand slam from Charlie Blackmon in the top of the eighth.

The Dodgers cooly responded with a pair of homers in the bottom of the eighth, from AJ Pollock and Joc Pederson, respectively. Another homer from Betts put everything out of reach for the Rockies.

Kenley Jansen slammed the door shut in the top of the ninth.

The series continues tomorrow and Sunday.
