Local Gasoline Prices Reflect Steady Tide of Price Hikes

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose two-tenths of a cent Thursday to $4.026, its highest amount since Nov. 15, 2019.

The average price has risen 12 of the past 13 days, increasing 5.4 cents, including four-tenths of a cent Wednesday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 4 cents more than one week ago, 10 cents higher than one month ago and $1.153 greater than one year ago.

According to GasBuddy, an award-winning travel and navigation app that guides drives to lower-price gas, the lowest price gasoline yesterday was being sold in astring of astations all along Washington Boulevard:

  • $3.59 regular was being sold at CTC Equity, 1414 E. Washington Blvd, and at Garo Gas, 960 E. Washington Blvd.

  • $3.63 regular was being sold at ARCO, 1010 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena

  • $3.65 regular was being sold at Ralphs, 911 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena, CA
