Longobardi PCC’s Lone All-SCC Women’s VB Selection

Published on Thursday, December 4, 2014 | 1:45 pm

Lahiz Longobardi was the only Pasadena City College player selected to the 2014 All-South Coast Conference women’s volleyball team as a member of the Second Team. It is the first time since 2006 that the Lancers didn’t place a player on the conference First Team.

Longobardi, a freshman outside hitter from Brazil, averaged a team-leading 3.36 kills per set (232 overall), was second on the squad in digs (178, 2.58) and second in block kills (22).

Longobardi is expected to return for the 2015 season and is under the tutelage of newly-named acting head coach Kari Post.
