A man was found beaten and unconscious following a robbery at Villa Parke in Pasadena on Sunday night, officials said.
The crime was reported at about 7:35 p.m. at the park in the 300 block of East Villa Street, Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.
Officers found the victim, a man in his 30s, unconscious on a sidewalk with head injuries, according to the lieutenant.
The victim ultimately told police he had been attacked and robbed, but was unable to provide a suspect description, Dawkins said. The man, who appeared to have been intoxicated at the time, suffered lacerations to his head.
Police said the victim lost his wallet, bicycle and backpack in the robbery.
