Man Shot in Leg in North Pasadena

Pasadena police report that a man was suffered a gunshot wound to the leg in a shooting which occurred about 2:51 pm Friday in the 1000 block of Los Robles Avenue. Several people have been detained, police say.

In an email, Pasadena Chief of Police Phillip Sanchez said “There are strong indicators that this incident does not appear to be related to the Jackson Homicide in Altadena or the recent shooting in Pasadena. ”

Police report that officers responded to several calls of shots fired and upon arrival discovered the male victim, who was treated by Pasadena Fire dept. paramedics and is in stable condition.

The suspects reportedly fled south on Los Robles Avenue in a 2-door Ford Mustang, white with a tan top.
