Authorities are asking the public’s help in finding a 64-year-old man with schizophrenia who went missing from an assisted living home in Pasadena more than a week ago.
Fu Yan Xu was last seen June 30 at the Pasadena Adult Living Center, 1415 N. Garfield Ave., Pasadena police said in a written statement.
“He is schizophrenic and has a history of walking away from the facility, but generally returns the same day,” according to the statement.
He’s been found in the past at Central Park, 275 S. Raymond Ave., at Pasadena Covenant Church, 539 N. lake Ave. and at Huntington Hospital, 100 W. California Blvd., police said.
Xu is described as Asian, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 171 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He has a mustache and beard. He was last seen wearing a blue plaid shirt with short sleeves and khaki pants.
