Masjid Al Taqwa: 5th Annual Invited Guest Series – May 20

The Education Committee of Masjid Al-Taqwa cordially invites everyone and their families to attend, “A Muslim Townhall: My Islam, My American Identity.” This event is to promote tolerance and understanding by opening and encouraging dialogue about issues one is facing as Muslims and Americans.

The featured speaker is Dr. Sherman A. Jackson. Dr. Jackson is the King Faisal Chair in Islamic Thought and Culture and Professor of Religion, American Studies and Ethnicity at the University of Southern California.
