City workers continued to work to repair a sinkhole after a city truck got stuck in the hole shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Orange Grove Boulevard and N. Hill Avenue intersection.
No one was hurt in the incident.
A witness said “it looked like they working down a manhole when the road collapsed under the weight of the truck.”
According to Pasadena Police Lt. Pete Hettema, all traffic is being diverted and the work is expected to continue until at least noon.
According to Hettema, workers have been working on sewer lines in the area.
“It’s under control,” Hettema said. “But it’s going to be an impediment to morning traffic.”
