New UCLA Health Primary Care Clinic in Pasadena Opens

UCLA Health’s new primary care clinic in Pasadena is now open. 

Located at 625 S. Fair Oaks Ave. North Tower, Suite 300, the clinic offers a full range of primary care services, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and treatment of acute illnesses.

The new clinic is directed by Dr. Cristina Nguyen, MD, a board-certified internist with over 10 years of experience.

As a Los Angeles native, Dr. Nguye said she is committed to improving the quality of life for all patients through a personalized approach to care.

“The expansion of UCLA Health over the past several years is intended to bring world-class, leading-edge, and patient-centered care into surrounding communities,” said Dr. Jeff Borenstein, Regional Medical Director for UCLA Health in Pasadena. “Opening a primary care office in Pasadena reflects that ongoing commitment.” 

According to Borenstein, the new office allows UCLA Health to provide a comprehensive network of primary care. 

This network connects with a wide variety of ancillary and support programs, access to specialty care, imaging facilities, and care coordination for patients in the Pasadena area.

“A benefit of having a UCLA Health primary care physician is that if a Pasadena patient needs to be admitted to a hospital, in addition to UCLA Ronald Reagan and Santa Monica facilities, UCLA hospitalist physicians are available in 13 regional hospitals.” 

“The physicians, who have access to UCLA medical records, can help arrange the essential care that you need when you’re in the hospital, and can coordinate with your primary care doctor when you’re discharged,” said Borenstein.

The clinic is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
