The Northwest Commission is taking the next step in updating the Lincoln Avenue Specific Plan with the last round of community workshops on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
During this meeting, Anita Cerna, senior planner at the Department of Planning and Community Development, will present drafts of the project to solicit feedback that will help in the preparation of proposed plans before these are presented to the Planning Commission and to the City Council.
The first round of workshops for the different Specific Plans in Pasadena was conducted from May to July 2018. On Feb. 28, 2019, the Planning Department held Round 2 of the workshop for the Lincoln Avenue Specific Plan. A walking tour of the area covered by the Specific Plan was also held on Feb. 2 last year.
Last August, the Planning Department held Round 3 of the Virtual Open House series, including a webinar on the Lincoln Avenue Specific Plan.
Before Tuesday’s workshop, members of the community can browse through the Lincoln Avenue Specific Plan and the other seven specific plans in Pasadena by visiting a virtual open house which the Planning Department recently launched to serve as a one-stop-shop for all information about the Our Pasadena program.
Visitors to the site can navigate through a series of stations and examine interactive maps to learn about updates to each of the eight specific plan areas.
