Obstetrician/Gynecologist Dr. Rong Fan, Joins Fair Oaks Women’s Health at Huntington Health

Huntington Health in Pasadena, an affiliate of Cedars-Sinai, has announced that obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Rong Fan is joining the medical staff at Fair Oaks Women’s Health, one of the San Gabriel Valley’s largest OB-GYN practices catering to routine prenatal care to high-risk pregnancies.

Fair Oaks Women’s Health, situated adjacent to the Huntington Health campus, will benefit from Dr. Fan’s skillful care for patients seeking specialized OB-GYN attention, Huntington Health said in a statement.

Dr. Fan’s specialization spans prenatal care, addressing conditions such as abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, polyps, and expertise in procedures like colposcopy, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery using the da Vinci Xi system.

Dr. Fan obtained a degree from Southeast University Medical College in Nanjing, China, followed by residency training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Queens in New York City.

She holds memberships in prestigious medical organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Dr. Fan is fluent in Mandarin, broadening accessibility to diverse patient populations.
