Online Real Estate Mentorship Community Collaborates With Family Promise for ‘SubTo Gives Thanks’ in Pasadena

This Thanksgiving season, real estate investor Pace Morby’s SubTo community is partnering with the non-profit organization Family Promise to launch “SubTo Gives Thanks” in Pasadena. The collaborative effort, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 22, aims to pack essential supplies for families in need, combining resources to combat homelessness.

The SubTo community, an online mentorship program and real estate community founded by Morby, is known for teaching creative financing methods. With approximately 11,000 real estate entrepreneurs and investors nationwide, SubTo has become a significant force in the real estate education landscape.

Pace Morby expressed his excitement about their partnership with the nationwide nonprofit whose vision is for every family to have a home, a livelihood, and the chance to build a better future.

“We are honored to join forces with Family Promise in our shared mission to make a difference in the lives of homeless and low-income families,” Morby said of the event set for Nov. 22. “’SubTo Gives Thanks’ is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and extend a helping hand to those who need it most.”

Morby, who had a long career in construction before going into real-estate investing, is the host of the A&E show “Triple Digit Flip” and the creator of SubTo.

SubTo, short for “subject to,” is a creative financing method of acquiring property from a seller, differentiating itself from seller finance. It’s also what Morby calls the real estate education program he started to provide training and mentorship to real estate investors.

On the program’s website, www.gosubto.com, Morby explains that the training is not a “one-and-done deal.” Real estate people, he said, never stop learning.

“In life, you are always learning and you’re always growing to learn more,” he writes. “Students in Subto don’t stop learning – in fact, many of the students who were beginners when they joined have become teachers and leaders in their own right.”

From what was initially a six-week course, Morby’s SubTo program has grown into a comprehensive real estate education platform whose students include both new and seasoned investors.

On Nov. 22 in Pasadena, SubTo community members, along with special guests like Jamil Damji from the AstroFlipping mentorship course, will be gathering to pack supplies for families represented by Family Promise. The collaboration aims to maximize resources to address the homelessness epidemic affecting communities nationwide.

Family Promise, a nonprofit organization, has a national reach, involving hundreds of thousands of volunteers in 200+ communities across 43 states. The organization provides innovative solutions for family homelessness, including prevention, shelter, and stabilization services.

Local residents who’d like to help can come hang out and pack boxes with the Subto members and special guests. You can also donate or bring items from the list on this page: www.eventbrite.com/e/subto-astro-give-thanks-tickets-751368321877?aff=oddtdtcreator
