Pasadena Bar Association to Grant Lifetime Achievement Awards

Pasadena Bar Association will honor two Pasadena-based attorneys with Lifetime Achievement Awards during its annual holiday party at Pandora on Green on Thursday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m.

Thomas Patrick Beck, founding partner of Thon, Beck, Vanni Callahan & Powell; and Gloria Scharre Pitzer, partner of Palermo, Barbaro, Chinen & Pitzer, will be honored for demonstrating “outstanding commitment and dedication to serving the local community.”

“The Pasadena Bar Association is pleased to recognize Thomas Patrick Beck and Gloria Scharre Pitzer for their long history in serving the community,” said Don Schweitzer, Pasadena Bar Association president, and founder of The Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer.

“Our association is highly committed to serving the local community through outreach programs, and we are happy to recognize members for their exemplary service,” Schweitzer added.

Beck and Pitzer were nominated and voted for by members of the Pasadena Bar Association. The candidates for the awards should be members of the Pasadena Bar Associations for at least five years to qualify as nominees.

Beck is an award-winning personal injury trial lawyer with over 35 years of experience. He is also a Martindale Hubbell AV-rated and has been featured in numerous publications including Super Lawyers.

Pitzer is a certified specialist in estate planning with 35 years of experience. She has served as president of several organizations including the University Club of Pasadena, Union Station Homeless Services, Pasadena Child Health Foundation, Hemophilia Foundation of Southern California and Pasadena Quarterbacks.
