Pasadena-Based iHerb Opens New Fulfillment Center in Hong Kong

A Pasadena-based e-commerce company specializing in health and beauty products announced the opening of its sixth global fulfillment center in Hong Kong on Tuesday.

iHerb’s new fulfillment center is the company’s second overseas and will serve Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia, the company said in a written statement.

“The fulfillment center will carry up to 6,000 of iHerb’s top-selling products, improving delivery speed for customers’ favorite items to as early as the next day if the order is placed prior to 1 p.m. Hong Kong time,” according to the statement.

The new center was created in partnership with DB Shenker and fitted with the latest robotic technology to speed work along, according to iHerb. It’s expected to handle roughly 20,000 orders each day.
